Metro‑North's Harlem Line is back to running on or close to schedule after a train caught fire this morning in Scarsdale.

A photo from the scene showed heavy smoke coming from two cars. The fire reportedly started because of a mechanical issue.

The MTA says 125 people were on board at the time, and everyone was evacuated at the Scarsdale train station with no injuries.

The MTA says customers experienced delays of up to 45 minutes on the Harlem Line as crews shut down tracks until the impacted train was taken away.
