For the second time, a Westchester mother and daughter are giving kids a way to express themselves during troubling times.
Ellyn and Lesley Greenspan of Purchase first designed clear masks -- now they're creating denim jackets with clear pockets and inserts.
The wearable art jacket is reminiscent of their Keen to be Seen clear masks that the duo designed, donated and sold at the height of the pandemic.
"We thought, perfect segue into now masking off, and being able to express yourself...in different ways," said Lesley.
Jackets can also be customized with a child's name and a variety of patches. They also have a jacket for kids looking for a cool way to hide an ailment.
"We have a child who's also diabetic," Ellyn said. "She's got a port, and we're trying to hide the port so she can go out and have a fun time without being different."
The two are also designing denim jackets for older kids and adults.
