Nanuet man pleads guilty to crash that killed two teens

A Rockland County man is expected to spend a year in state prison for his role in a deadly 2019 crash that killed two teens.
Jason Castro, of Nanuet, pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide according to one of the victim's mothers who was in the Rockland County Courtroom when it happened.
Altin Nezaj, 17, from Pearl River and Saniha Cekic, 15, from Brooklyn died when the car they were passengers in went off Route 304 and onto the train tracks below in October of 2019.
Both Castro and the driver are accused of racing.
