Builders of the new Yankee Stadium say the $1.3 billion venue boasts some nice amenities in the heart of the Bronx.

The "Yankee Stadium" sign is etched in gold. The luxury continues on the inside, where a steakhouse, conference center and martini bar are being built.

Although the venue is 50 percent larger, and costlier, officials maintain that the layout and feel will seem more intimate to fans. They say they're shooting for a grand opening in 2009 that will rival the original stadium's 1923 opening.The old stadium will be converted into a park and common area for community use.
