New lifesaving equipment is now in use by the New Hampton Fire District.
Officials say they were able to purchase a cordless tool known as the Jaws of Life to help remove trapped victims, thanks to a $12,000 donation from Competitive Power Ventures in Wawayanda.
“A purchase like this would have taken three years to complete, and now with CPV's help – we have purchased two of the major tools this year," says New Hampton Fire District Chief Terry Reynolds.
