The Citizens? Committee for Children of New York released its annual report Wednesday citing the best and worst Bronx neighborhoods for raising children.Some of the better neighborhoods on the list were Pelham Parkway, Riverdale and Throgs Neck. The neighborhoods where children are most at risk are Mott Haven, Hunts Point, Morrisania, University Heights, East Tremont, Highbridge, Fordham, Soundview and Williamsbridge.Some parents in Soundview say the report is a wakeup call.?If we can?t invest in our children, what?s our future going to look like?? says Junette Foreman.The study, named ?Keeping Track of New York City?s Children,? reviewed economics, housing, childcare, health and education in neighborhoods of all five boroughs.
