New Rochelle police charge 3 teens in connection with carjacking of a restaurant owner

Three juveniles are in police custody after a carjacking in New Rochelle.

Three juveniles are in police custody after a carjacking in New Rochelle.
Police say it happened on Main Street around 2:30 a.m.
A restaurant owner was closing his business for the night when two men approached him with a handgun and demanded his keys.  The man handed them over.
New Rochelle detectives were able to track the vehicle in the 47th Precinct of the Bronx. The men led the police on a brief chase before being arrested.
Police say the suspects are believed to be involved with robberies that occurred hours earlier in Connecticut and Port Chester, New York.
