New Rochelle police say a man was arrested for taking a photo of a woman underneath her Muslim garb and exposing himself to her.
Detectives say 23-year-old Hussain Haider, of New Rochelle, approached a woman wearing a niqab back on March 8.
A niqab is a long garment worn by some Muslim women that covers the entire body and face, excluding their eyes.
Police say Hussain took a photo under the niqab and further exposed himself to the victim before running off.
Police say the victim's young child was there during the incident.
Hussain also faces charges of unlawful surveillance, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.
