New York average coronavirus positivity rate below 1.5% for 1st time since October

On a seven-day rolling average, the Empire State has less than a 1.5% positivity rate for the first time since Oct. 28.

New York is seeing some progress in its fight against the coronavirus.
The positivity rate in the state has decreased to 1.29%.
On a seven-day rolling average, the Empire State has less than a 1.5% positivity rate for the first time since Oct. 28.
Hospitalizations have also fallen below 2,200, which is their lowest point since Nov. 16.
