The statewide infection rate dropped to 1.6% on Friday, the lowest since Nov. 3. Hospitalizations dropped to just over 2,700, the lowest since Nov. 23.

New York is reporting some of the lowest COVID-19 numbers seen since November.
The statewide infection rate dropped to 1.6% on Friday, the lowest since Nov. 3. Hospitalizations dropped to just over 2,700, the lowest since Nov. 23.
The number of ICU patients are down to 658 for the first time since Nov. 27.
There were 25 new deaths were reported across the state.
The infection rate on Long Island dropped below 2% on Friday.
