A New York Times best-selling author was in the Hudson Valley on Thursday. 

Zakiya Dalila Harris, author of "The Other Black Girl," was the featured guest at the fall Castle Conversations event at Manhattanville College.

Harris' premiere novel speaks to issues of representation and power in the world of publishing.
