A Newburgh man has been convicted of first-degree murder in a 2019 shooting.
Cornelius Stubbs, 50, faces life in prison without parole when he is sentenced in September, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
Stubbs and 49-year-old Carlos Rivera were charged in the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Chelsea Dibidin inside a New Windsor apartment.
Rivera pleaded guilty to first-degree murder earlier this month as his trial was about to get underway.
