A 40-year-old man from Brooklyn will spend 25 years in prison for a double shooting in Newburgh, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
Dwayne Hines admitted to first-degree manslaughter and second-degree attempted murder for the April 2023 incident on Lander Street.
One man was killed, and another was paralyzed in the shooting.
