Police in Newburgh are searching for the suspect who shot a community activist.
Police say the shooting happened shortly after 10 p.m. yesterday outside the Terrace Tavern. They say 29-year-old Donovan James, who is known for speaking out against violence, was shot multiple times in the stomach.
James was flown to Westchester Medical Center where he's listed in stable condition.
