The task was brought to acting Superintendent Ed Forgit after school board members expressed concerns about in-person learning due to busing issues and COVID-19.
Forgit says he's received plenty of feedback from people in favor of a virtual model.
"We surveyed and received just over 1,000 requests for consideration for a virtual model. Our task right now is to take a look at those requests and try to determine what is the most appropriate way to determine the specific model that would best suit those particular students given the two parameters," said Forgit.
Superintendent Forgit says the two standards to determine student eligibility for virtual learning include medically fragile students and students who excelled with remote learning.
