Newburgh woman injured when ride-on lawnmower gets pinned beneath deck

A woman had to be rescued Sunday afternoon after being pinned underneath a deck while riding a lawnmower in the Town of Newburgh.
The Middle Hope Fire Department says the person was stuck for about 15 minutes before a neighbor heard her and called 911.
It happened at a home on Orchard Heights Drive.
The patient could not feel or move her leg or foot when emergency crews arrived. The decision was made to cut one of the supporting posts of the deck and lift it off the ground.
