Westchester Magazine's Best of Westchester party took place at the Glen Island Country Club in New Rochelle.
Just one month ago, the site was home to the state's first COVID-19 testing site, and on Wednesday, people gathered to honor the businesses that made it through the last year and a half.
The event, which had about 2,000 people, celebrated the best the county has to offer and highlighted the recovery since the pandemic.
For many businesses that struggled, the event was a chance to reach new customers and celebrate all they did to get by.
Vaccinations were mandatory and vendors were more spread out this year to make everyone feel safer.
The in-person event last year was scrapped due to COVID-19, so Wednesday marked a celebration of 2020 and 2021 honorees.
News 12 won the 2020 and 2021 awards for Best Local TV Program, and our Lisa Salvadorini and Tara Rosenblum took home the awards for Best Local TV Personality for the last two years.
