News 12 caught up with Orange & Rockland to see how the utility company is grappling with the heat and upcoming storm.
Utility crews were seen working to fix an underground issue on Palisades Court in Pomona Wednesday.
Neighbors say there's been intermittent power outages in this area the last few days.
One woman was happy her power was back.
"It's been an eventful week for sure in terms of another heat wave we've been dealing with this summer,” said Vito Signorile, a spokesman for Orange & Rockland. “Our system is designed to handle this and it has been responding very well."
As a reminder, if you lose power you can contact Orange & Rockland through its app or by phone at 1-877-434-4100
