News 12 has learned that Nyack school district unions say they have no confidence in the school superintendent.
It comes as things got heated when 100 teachers walked out of a Nyack School Board meeting earlier this week.
The meeting is posted on the school board website.
Parents and other school community members spoke out in support of the educators that night.
Some shared they want the district to negotiate better contracts for employees - like better pay and more staff members in supporting roles.
Another mentioned wanting a change in leadership.
“I feel compelled to speak to you today because we are not ok as a district right now,” one person said.
“I'm sad to say that the school district is in trouble,” said another.

The school board has scheduled a special meeting at Nyack high school on Friday night at 5 p.m. where they will be going into an executive session.
News 12 has not heard back from the school district’s superintendent or the Board of Education for comment.
