A North Rockland teacher is being honored by the NHL.
Jennifer LaBier, from Stony Point Elementary, has been chosen to be a part of the National Hockey League's Most Valuable Teacher Program.
She's one of 20 nominees across the country who have been selected.
If she wins, she could get $30,000 worth of grants for the Rockland school district.
LaBier would have to become a finalist to win that money for the community.
