A New
York woman is facing federal charges after being accused of conspiring with the
father of a Sarah Lawrence College student to force women they met on campus
into prostitution.
Investigators
say it began when Ray, 61, moved into his daughter's Sarah Lawrence dorm a decade
ago, gaining the trust of the college students and then manipulating them.
News
12 reported in March that the prosecution showed the judge financial
spreadsheets found at his Piscataway home, alleging he earned $700,000 in 2017
and over $1 million in 2018 from prostitution proceeds.
Pollok
and Ray are both facing multiple charges.
Pollok
is free on bail. Ray, who is being held without bail pending trial, has pleaded
not guilty.
