Some Hudson Valley hospital workers were treated to breakfast this morning to thank them for all of their hard work during the pandemic.

"Nyack Nourishes" handed out breakfast sandwiches, fruit, and snacks to the staff at Montefiore Nyack Hospital.

"We raised close to $40,000, and there was a way to bring food from local restaurants and support them, especially in early COVID days.  But now we've decided to bring it back because everyone is fighting so hard in the Omicron wave, and especially these guys are so hard hit by everything that’s going on," says Susan Wilmink, a Nyack Nourishes volunteer.  

Today's breakfast giveaway is part of special surprise events taking place every Wednesday during the month of February.
