New security measures are on the way for one housing development in the borough.
Local leaders held a press conference at the Parkside Houses to announce a $3 million grant to help NYCHA step up safety there.
The complex will be getting brand-new security cameras, an upgraded intercom system and the outer doors will be switched over to key card access.
The money is part of a $300 million investment in the city's public housing.
