NYPD releases video of suspect in Bronx shooting of 11-month-old girl

Police have released surveillance video of a suspect linked to the shooting of an 11-month-old girl in the Bronx.
Police say the baby girl was shot in the face Wednesday night. According to the NYPD, the baby girl was shot while a suspect was shooting at another person at East 198 Street and Valentine Avenue around 6:45 p.m. The bullet struck the infant in the left cheek.
The NYPD says it found the 32-year-old mother holding the baby girl inside of a car while the father was inside a grocery store. Officials say the frantic mother then ran into a nearby deli searching for her husband while holding her bleeding child in her arms.
Two unidentified suspects are at large at this time, according to police. Police say one was chasing the other and fired two shots.
Authorities say tell News 12 the infant had surgery this morning and is in critical but stable condition. Police say the baby was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital and was transferred to Manhattan Hospital.
