NYPD: Cab driver stabbed over possible payment dispute

A cab driver is in recovery Friday morning after he was stabbed following a possible dispute over payment in the Bronx, the NYPD says.
Police say the 34-year-old driver got into an argument with three people he picked up in front of 3222 Bronx Blvd. Thursday night. Police say the trio assaulted him and even tried to rob him.
The driver chased them down and that's when he was stabbed twice in his torso, according to officers.
No arrests have been made at this time.
