Police: Derby man faces charges for selling drugs from his car in the Norwalk area

Police say a 39-year-old Bronx man was shot and killed Monday night on Mohegan Avenue in West Farms.

They say Roman Martinez was found just before 8 p.m. with multiple gunshot wounds in the head. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

"I'm destroyed right now," said Javier Bruno, Martinez's cousin. "He was a good guy. He didn't have problems with nobody and he didn't deserve that."

According to Bruno, the victim was sleeping inside of his camping trailer near 176th Street and Mohegan Avenue when his life was cut short. Police tell News 12 that last week, a man was robbed and killed at this same intersection.

Authorities say no one has been arrested.
