The NYPD has confirmed an accident involving one of their vehicles hitting a woman in the Bronx.
The accident happened Monday afternoon at 142nd Street and Alexander Avenue.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and tended to the woman.
Police say that no criminality is suspected in the incident and that it is under investigation.
