The NYPD released body camera footage Monday of a September incident involving a knife-wielding man shot by police in Brownsville.
Police say the man attacked a police officer while attempting to get into the 73rd Precinct on Sept. 7 before he was fatally shot.
One officer was slashed in the face. A 14-inch butcher knife was recovered at the scene.
Several officers fired at the man, striking him several times. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
