Police have released new photos of two men wanted in connection with the stabbing and robbery of an off-duty NYPD detective in Norwood.

Investigators say the two men approached the 33-year-old detective on a motorized bike near Rochambeau Avenue and East 208th Street Friday afternoon.

Police say they stabbed and slashed him multiple times before taking a chain from around his neck and fleeing southbound on Rochambeau Avenue.

The detective was taken to Jacobi Hospital and is expected to recover.

Police are asking anyone who recognizes the men in the newly released images to contact Crime Stoppers.
