A new study reveals that obesity has been an increasing factor in cardiac deaths over the last two decades.
Research published in the Journal of the American Heart Association shows a tripling of adults whose obesity contributed to their heart disease-related deaths from 1999 to 2020.
However, there was also a nearly 18% decline in heart disease deaths during that period.
