Police say an off-duty Ramapo police officer was seriously injured when the motorcycle he was riding collided with another vehicle yesterday.
Authorities say Officer Joseph Hannes, 57, was driving on Route 202 in Wesley Hills when his motorcycle collided with a car near Spoon Rock and Lime Kiln roads.
Hannes underwent surgery at Westchester Medical Center for internal injuries and multiple bone fractures.
