Officer Rosa Rodriguez leaves hospital after Coney Island arson fire

An officer hurt in a Brooklyn arson fire last month has finally gone home. Officer Rosa Rodriguez was released from the hospital as dozens of members of the NYPD cheered and showered her with flowers.

An officer hurt in a Brooklyn arson fire last month has finally gone home.
Officer Rosa Rodriguez was released from the hospital as dozens of members of the NYPD cheered and showered her with flowers. 
The 36-year-old mother of four was overcome by toxic smoke when she and her partner, Officer Dennis Guerra, ran into a burning high-rise apartment building in Coney Island back on April 6. Guerra died from his injuries three days later. 
Marcell Dockery, 16, is accused of setting the flames. He's facing a number of charges, including second-degree murder.
