A man was injured during an early Monday morning fire in South Blooming Grove.
Officials say firefighters from several departments were called to the home on Merriewold Lane North around 4:30 a.m. and learned that there was a person trapped inside the residence.
They say three other occupants were able to evacuate without any injuries.
Firefighters rushed into the burning home to try and save the trapped man.
News 12's Lisa LaRocca's Facebook live from the scene of the fire.
The victim was immediately taken to a hospital as crews continued to battle the flames.
Officials say it took around 50 firefighters an hour to get the fire under control.
They add that crews had to fight the fire from outside the home because it became too dangerous to be inside as the stability of the house became compromised in some areas.
Officials believe that the fire started on the first floor of the home.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
