The Westchester County district's attorney announced 12 individuals were indicted for the possession and sale of illegal narcotics in Yonkers.

The indictment comes following a joint investigation initiated in October 2021 by the Yonkers Police Department, Westchester County Department of Public Safety and the Westchester County Violent Criminal Enterprise Bureau.

The investigation led to the arrest of 12 individuals who were allegedly in possession of and sold cocaine on 27 separate occasions between Oct.29, 2021 and April 7, 2022.

The defendants have each been arraigned in Westchester County Court as none of the charges are bail qualifying offenses.
