Two men have been indicted in the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old Mount Vernon teen.
Zyaire Fernandez was fatally shot in the back on South Seventh Avenue last March. He died at Mount Vernon Hospital.
The Westchester District Attorney's Office says 21-year-old Tyrese Coghiel was indicted for second-degree murder, while 46-year-old Phillip Ferrell, of Yonkers, was indicted on charges including criminal possession of a weapon and hindering prosecution.
Both are being held in the Westchester County Jail.
A motive for the shooting has not been released.
