Four people were hospitalized Tuesday after a police chase ended in a serious crash in Yonkers, authorities said.
Around 4 p.m., Yonkers police were pursuing a driver known to flee traffic stops when the suspect made a sharp left turn from Riverdale Avenue onto Radford Street, police said.
The pursuing officers also made the turn but appeared to hit a curb and lose control before colliding with a Porsche in oncoming traffic.
The two Yonkers officers and two people in the Porsche were hospitalized in stable condition Tuesday evening, police said.
The suspect who initially led the chase remains at large.
