One person was killed Tuesday after two tractor-trailers collided on I-84 in Montgomery.

The accident happened around 9:30 a.m. on the westbound side of the highway. Michael Herman, 49, of Pennsylvania, was crushed inside the cab of his truck and was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver involved, Remier Orville, 56, of Tennessee, was not injured.

All lanes on the westbound side were shut down so emergency crews were able to clear the wreckage.
