County officials say the owners of an Orange County day care bought a Mercedez-Benz and lived a lavish lifestyle using money that should have gone to a special education program.

The owners of the day care abruptly pulled the plug on its special education program for pre-schoolers and fired teachers on Friday.
Orange County officials say the day care owes them $2.4 million in overpaid funds that the owners allegedly used for themselves, instead of the kids.
On Saturday, a state Supreme Court judge issued an order to show cause, directing the facility to uphold its contract with the state and provide its financial records.
Officials say the owners – who have not been named – allegedly used funds on high salaries for themselves and questionable spending, including payments from the day care's account to buy a Mercedes-Be
