Orange County is gearing up for its final Hazardous Waste and Safe Scripts collection event of the year.
This event is an opportunity for residents to dispose of various items, including wet paint, pharmaceutical drugs, fire extinguishers, fluorescent bulbs, and aerosol cans.
However, there are items that won't be accepted, such as explosives like fireworks, electronics, home appliances, and dried latex paint.
The event is happening Friday and Saturday at 21 Training Center Lane in New Hampton.
Remember, this is the last collection event for the year, with the next one scheduled for the spring.
