Orange County recovers from damage inflicted by Friday night thunderstorm

Campbell Hall firefighters say they had to cut away downed trees on several roads.

Orange County is addressing the damage inflicted by the powerful thunderstorm that rolled through Friday night.
Campbell Hall firefighters say they had to cut away downed trees on several roads.
Central Hudson Utility Crews say a woman inadvertently drove right into a downed tree on Route 207. Her car ended up stuck under branches and wires. However, she was not hurt.
Hailstones were visible on the ground in Walkill, where a large tree toppled onto power lines on Lybolt and Hufcut roads. Power was briefly out in those areas.
Cornwall also saw some tree damage and flooding.
