Three softball players from Orange County got the thrill of a lifetime last month when they competed in the Under 18 Softball World Cup.
Elyse Marcano of Middletown, Brielle Rosario of Warwick and Brianna Roberts of Monroe-Woodbury represented Team Puerto Rico.
The World Cup was held in Peru, and the trio played a big part in their team's 6- 2 record win.
Roberts excelled on the mound, pitching a one-hitter in the Bronze Medal game win over Mexico.
