The high school robotics team in Ossining is preparing for its next major step.

The Ossining “Oh‑Bots” will travel to an international championship in Houston after competing at the FIRST Robotics Hudson Valley Regional at Rockland Community College last week.

Flux Robotics from Pelham reached the regional finals, according to event officials.

Teams from Yonkers and Orangetown also received awards for their work during the competition.

The international event is scheduled to begin in April.
