Pace's basketball teams take on Adelphi of LI

The Pace men's and women's basketball teams played back-to-back games against Adelphi of Long Island in Pleasantville last night. The ladies played first in the match-up of Northeast-10 Conference teams.

The Pace men's and women's basketball teams played back-to-back games against Adelphi of Long Island in Pleasantville last night.
The ladies played first in the match-up of Northeast-10 Conference teams.
Former Haldane hoopster Brittany Shields, now a senior at Pace, started off the night with 974 career points.
With 3:15 remaining in the game, Shields hit for her 26th point giving her exactly 1,000 career points. Pace won 70 - 59 as the Lady Setters improved to 5 -1 on Shields' special night.
On the men's side, Adelphi got a great performance from former New Rochelle standout John Calarco. The Panthers beat Pace 57 - 52, dropping the Setters to 4 - 4 on the season.
