The parents of a Spring Valley teenage girl are pleading for her safe return after she failed to come home Tuesday.
Sharene Ebron says her 17-year-old daughter Karesse Ebron came home Tuesday night about 7:30 p.m. after filling out a job application. The Ramapo High School student then went out again with permission, but didn?t come home by 9 p.m. Ebron says it is unlike her daughter to miss curfew and she believes someone is holding her captive. After checking with friends, the girl's mother called police the next day. The teen is described as outgoing, active and just graduated from the police youth academy.
Police say they have very little to go on at this point. They are interviewing the teen?s friends and family and following leads as they come in.
