2ds agoAn accident on I-287 resulted in the death of a pedestrian late last night in Harrison.
According to authorities, the victim was walking in the middle lane of the highway when a tractor-trailer struck the individual around 10:45 p.m.
The driver of the truck remained at the scene and promptly reported the accident.
The westbound lanes were closed for approximately four hours following the incident.
State police have not yet disclosed the identity of the victim, and as of now, no charges have been filed against the driver.
