Peeskill residents came together on Sunday to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

The Hispanic Community Corporation helped organize the fourth Peekskill Hispanic Heritage Festival at Riverfront Green.

"They have to know what is the root of where they're coming from, and then all the people of the country know what is our life in our country," says Dinora Pacheco, president and co-founder of the Peekskill Hispanic Community Corp.

The festival included live music from Hispanic countries, folk dancing, food, drinks and games.
