Pelham schools were back in session today after an apparent fake bomb threat disrupted operations at Pelham Middle-High School Monday.

School officials received clearance from law enforcement confirming that the threat, received via email, was determined to be a hoax. The incident led to an evacuation at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Monday.

As standard protocol dictates, such threats demand serious attention, resulting in an early dismissal for middle and high school students in the district.

Following the threat, Westchester County's bomb squad and K-9 unit conducted a thorough sweep of the campus but found no explosives. Officials concluded that the entire situation was a false alarm.
