Persons of interest taken into custody after fatal shooting in Peekskill

Police tell News 12, the victim was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital, and then to Westchester Medical Center, where he died from those injuries.

One person is dead, and others are in custody after a shooting in Peekskill, according to authorities.
Police officers responded to the 600 block of John Street on Sunday around 4:15 p.m. for a report of shots fired.
A 35-year-old man was found with severe injuries.
Police tell News 12, the victim was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital, and then to Westchester Medical Center, where he died from those injuries.
Police say they have taken at least two persons of interest into custody and are investigating the shooting as a homicide.
