Officers showed up at Police Service Area 7 on Monday for what they thought was picture day, but instead got a personal invitation to next month’s New York Jets game vs. the Rams.
NYPD Officer Kavon Dixon is just one of the honorary guests invited to the game on Dec. 22.
"Sometimes we come to work...and you feel like you don't get recognized, but to have a day where we all get to take a group photo and shake hands, it was truly an accomplishment for me," said Dixon.
This all happened after a call between Commanding Officer Captain Emmanuel Kwo and Steven Castleton, the Jets' military and law enforcement liaison.
