A Pleasant Valley man is accused of following a child home from school and attempting to give them inappropriate gifts and notes.

Kurt Geisler, 36, is charged with stalking and child endangerment in connection with an incident last month involving an elementary school student, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.

He was arrested and is being held in jail.
